I am looking for any opinions regarding the new Jet Supersaw (JWSS-10SPF). There are a couple of customer reviews on Amazon and they mention that the fence is not up to par. I am hoping for some additional opinions. Thanks!

I’ve had a chance to check out four different supersaws, three of them had sliding tables. In a nutshell, I think the dewalt 746 is a much better product in this Hybrid class of saw.
Two of the fences I saw did have some sort of problem. The two problem fence didn’t look like there were setup incorrectly, they looked just like the fences that seemed to work okay. In one of them, the “micro adjust” (which is a joke anyway) would not even move the fence. The cursor on the fence was significantly less legible than other fences.
One of the machines I looked at did have some sort of problem with the slider, it didn’t move smoothly; I couldn’t see any reason why it had a problem. I think the crosscut fence could have been designed a little better. It is very desirable to be able to remove and replace the crosscut fence on a slider, this one took longer than I think it should. You also loose the miter gauge slot on the left with the slider attached. This limits your ability to use some jigs, feather boards and such.

Thanks for the opinion Phil. Happy Holidays to you and yours.
for the price, spend a few more hundred and buy a cabinet saw. Jet, PM or Delta or even grizzly for less. Heavier saw, more durable. Only caveat is the mobility.
COmbo saws are still really contractors saw in new clothes.
Thanks Bill. I am looking into the idea of a Cabinet saw. I was thinking of a mobile base on the SuperSaw anyway due to my space limitations. I will be using in a 2 car garage with 2 cars in there already. It is a pain but I have most everything else out of the garage now except for a couple of cabinets. I beleive that with the mobile base, I should be okay. Thanks for your opinion. I appreciate it!
i own a supersaw it is my fist saw.the dust collection is kind of wierd. there are holes in the bottom of the inside cabinet to filter out the larger pieces but winds up filtering out a alot of the thicker dust. the main problem i have is the miter slot, its too far from the blade! you cant use a standard tenon jig. shop fox makes one that will work for 200$ so i just made one. everything else works well.the micro adjust works but you can get the sme results tapping the fence its just a rubber wheel that rolls the fence sise to side. also the t slots dont accept any t bolts that i have come across any one know wher i can get some that fit?
