Curious if anyone owned the Leigh FMT (mortising jig) and what they thought of the beast. Is it worth the $750 price tag?

Got one the other day. What a joy to work with. Hint: get all the plastic inserts. The carbide bits were pricy and I would suggest you have a look at the book to see which ones you might use most often and buy seperately. The instruction book is very well written. The router set up took about 45 min (dewalt 621) but that is a one time thing. It makes those compound bevel joints downright easy.
Recommended.
Cheers,
Peter
edit: I will practice and try to master doing M/T on wooden matches in the next few days. Doing such really small m/t(s) is a bit tricky however. This will take some time I think. First gotta get new glasses or one of those magnifying thingies that clamp on to the bench.
