Does anybody know of any business that sells mahoganey wood columns (6’ft. -8″diameter) at a reasonable price, that offers on-line internet ordering & access. Six feet?
I'd do them myself in two segments, joining the segments with a turned M/T.
For applied half columns....if you lay up two pieces of squared stock glued together with a piece of paper between them, you can turn and flute your columns and later split them in half easily to mount on the cabinet.
