I’m doing a house of fir baseboards in stain. Originally was going to use tung oil but came across Osmo at the store (floors are done with Waterlox tung). What I love about fir is the orange-ing with time; anybody know if I use the Osmo Wood Wax Clear if this will still occur? Other products to consider?

I use Osmo on cherry and it darkens so bet the equivalent would happen with pine.
Ok thanks, wasn't sure if "clear" would darken or stain it
What I meant is that Osmo doesn't seem to prevent the natural colorization that occurs in most woods over time. So, when I stick my Osmo finished cherry cabinets in the sun they turn to darker reddish brown. Don't see why your pine wouldn't continue to turn orange. BTW, I've used Waterlox tung also on cherry with pretty much identical results to Osmo as far as I can tell.
