A few days ago, when I clicked on a link, (not just on a forum answer link where they usually open in a small separate window) the page opened just like that, a small separate window. Prior to that, my links opened as a full window.
I can’t figure out how to change what I assume is some sort of default setting to make new links open as a full WEB page. I’ve gone through the “Tools” > “Internet Options” and “View” toolbars and can’t find a setting that allows web pages to open as a full window.
I Need some help. Does anybody have an answer?

Jerry i think if you goto minimize or maximze this may help. Pete
Jerry, try closing all your browser windows. Then click on your home page IE shortcut, and when it opens, maximize it. That will set the main browser window to open and change pages in a maximized size.
From what I've experienced, the problem comes in with links that open in a "new window." For instance, if you click on an internet link in a post, or if you right-click a link and select "Open in New Window." I've not found a way to get those to automatically go to maximized position. What you can do is open one in a separate page, then drag the corner of the window to a nearly-maximized size. Any separate windows you open from there on out should open to that size.
If I'm not making sense, pipe up and I'll try to clarify.

Re: "Links Open Too Small"
Thanks for your reply. You got it right!
I remebered that Windows is supposed to remember its last setting when a window closes. But I didn't realize that it doesn't remember its previous size when you open a window from a link and then maximize it. The next time you open a link it reverts back to the smaller size, not the maximized size.
Your instruction did the trick.: "... drag the corners of the window to a nearly-maximized size. Any separate windows you open from there on out should open to that size."
Thanks again!
