I’m having an issue with my paint pot & was curious if anyone else has had this problem.
I use primarily WB finishes, and recently noticed rust stains in my WB sanding sealer in the pot. Material has not been in the pot for more than 10 days total, 2 days at a time.
It does not appear the galvanized tube can be replaced- it is welded to the lid.
I’ve been trying to get a response from the place of purchase for over 45 days on how to resolve the problem, and have been getting a run around, or no response.

Sorry, but what's a"paint pot"?

A paint pot is a pressurised tank that you put the paint into. It regulates air into the tank to force the fluid up to the gun (instead of gravity or siphon effect) and feeds air to the gun as well.
It lets you spray longer (from a 2gal or 5gal container), and the hoses are typically around 20ft long so you can move around. They are the way to go for high volume finishing, and for really good results. (Airless systems work even better, but cost big bucks)
The pots are also the absolute best thing for spraying contact cement in production shops. Thats actually where I cut my teeth on them.
As a side note papanick, pressure pots are starting to go out of favour, at least over here in the UK they are. They're considered as potential bombs I suppose and they are supposed to be tested every year for safety reasons at quite a heavy fee.
What's coming in nowadays are low pressure pumps such as the Asturo K24 system at the following link. This is what we bought recently and with a bit of time and patience I'm getting used to it. And it doesn't have to tested on a regular basis. Slainte.

Oh ---- yeah!I've got a small pressure pot (2 quart) which I use occasionally with my HVLP set up. But in my case, I find it easier and more convenient to use the the regular rig. The working parts on mine are all stainless steel, which I would imagine is also the case with yours. If you're getting rust, I would guess the stainless is breaking down. I've seen that happen, but it usually takes years. Is it possible there are plain steel parts in your rig? I am assuming the pot itself is aluminum."I would never die for my beliefs because I might be wrong."

The pick up tube appears to be galvanized steel, which is welded to the lid. The rust appears to be coming from inside of the pickup tube seeping down into the sealer.
Still no response from the vendor, I'll give them a few more days.
The WB products seem to be rather corrosive, I've had them rust the lined can they come in from the manufacturer. I hate to say it, but I think you need to empty and clean the pot when you finish for the day. I don't like the skin that forms on the air cap with WB either, the stuff is a pain to clean up. What product are you using? I'm still searching.Beat it to fit / Paint it to match
Enduro from Compliant Spray Systems. I typically clean it every other day when I am using it. When I use the 1qt cups, I go thru the material in one shift, and clean, so I don't have an issue there.
You can get a CA Technologies 2-qt pressure pot from Homestead for about $200, if I remember correctly. All SS. Takes about 10 minutes to empty it using WB acrylic.
Sounds like your paint pot wasn't meant for WB finishes.
Pressure pots for waterbase have stainless steel parts (or aluminum) which typically cost a fortune (I paid 1,800 for my last Graco including SS HVLP gun).
If you are going to spray the odd WB finish. you gotta clean it out like a madman, and make sure it's dry when you're done (spray some naptha after the water, or sometghing like that)
You're gonna have to try and get the rust off all the parts you can get to, and hope for the best. And check out the inner workings of the gun- they rust in there too.
Sorry.
