HI <!—-><!—-><!—->
Am putting together the Laundry Cabinetry which is made from White Melamine. I want to use a semi gloss painted finish on the doors and the face frames giving the finish a more contemporary feel. My question to you is what material do I make the doors and face frame out of to complement the spay painted finish. I was thinking particle board with melamine finish. <!—-><!—->
But what about the edges, do a need to get these edged banded also or will the spray painted finish cover this. <!—-> <!—->
Thanks Boyds <!—-><!—->

Boyds,
If it were me, I'd have the doors and face frame made out of poplar. I don't know what type of doors you're making but I guess you could use particle board and paint it. For the edges, edge banding would certainly give it a more finished look. Otherwise you'll have to do some filling with something like bondo or a filler like that to close off the edges.
