i was wondering if anyone has used grizzlys go490 with the parallelagram beds ? how does it perform compared to the go586?

I own and have used the G0490 for over a year now. I have no major complaints this is a good machine for the price.
The built-in caster system is a little awkward to use (the center of gravity of the jointer is very high so negotiating tight curve is a dangerous operation).
One thing to be aware is that the handles to setup the height of the infeed/outfeed table are relatively hard to use if you are looking for a super precise adjustment. This is usually not a problem for the infeed table but the outfeed table need to be set exactly flush with the blades. To save myself some headhakes, I did invest in a jig to setup the blades and never move the outfeed table.
