I inherited a couple of lightweight stanley routers. An h398, 4amp and An h14a 2.5 amp. They are both in excellent condition and work well. Does anyone know where to find the graphite brush replacements for these tools? Thanks ahead of time. dp

Dave,
The hardware stores carry an assortment of brushes for electric motors up here..its kinda hit and miss though..I'd bring the holder with to insure it fits..
Dave,
Check with Bosch.
Bosch/Skil bought out the Stanley portable power tools a number of years ago. They don't stock much in the way of spare parts but you can try.
Have an electric motor rewind shop take a look. Brushes are stock item with most of them.
You can take larger brushes and make them fit with sandpaper. Many hardware stores carry generic brushes you can modify.
thanks, that may be the best idea. take care, dp
