I recently inherited some tools from my father who was a cabinet maker. One of these tools is a 3 foot long by 6.5 inch wide cast iron three blade jointer made by the Walker Turner Company of Plainfield NJ. The data plate has no date but the jointer must be at least 40 years old. I’d like to refurbish it but its missing some minor parts including the cutter head guard attaching mechanism. The data plate bears the inscription “The Driver Line Power Tools SKF Bearing Equipped” Can anyone help me locate parts for this machine, or a drawing for it?
My thanks in advance,
ChrisinOZ

Might try calling Delta at 1800/233-7278. Delta or Rockwell brought out WT around 1950. Don't know about getting parts but, it's a starting point.
Good luck,
Dale
Thanks Dale - much appreciated.

Try http://www.oldwwmachines.com/WalkerTurner/Catalogs.asp They don't sell parts (or anything, for that matter), but manuals and parts books may help, also.
Thanks TDKPE - great tip. I got most of what I wanted from the website
