Pass-Through-Drawers, or 2-Way Drawers, or Slide-Through Drawers
Whatever their name, these drawers would open from from either side. I’m having trouble coming up with a simple design on my own. All I need (I think)is a rough idea, not necessarily measurements. Does anyone know where I can find plans or photos of such drawers? –jonnieboy

I don't know of any hardware
I don't know of any hardware made for this, but maybe that's just as well. I've done it by making simple C-shaped profiles that run through the cabinet and create the "track" for the drawer by holding it top and bottom and sides. You cannot use any kind of dado on the sides or bottom runners because it runs right through the fronts. A strategically placed bullet catch will hold the drawer in closed position.
Accuride makes two-way slides, like the model #0363, which has a 100# rating and comes in 16, 20, 24, and 28" lengths. Goto http://www.accuride.com/Woodworking/Product/Details.asp?ProductID=119
Yep, that's them. I knew
Yep, that's them. I knew someone must make them.
Thanks!

I don't know if you will be
I don't know if you will be able to see the lip on top of the drawer that's riding on the leger strips, but if you look up shaker sewing tables you may find an example.

I've made them for several
I've made them for several different projects, most recently for drawers under a captain's bed.
Side-hung drawers are probably easiest, where you dado into the drawer side and have the matching runner attached to the carcass side. (If you don't mind showing the ends of the slides at the front.)
Or you can slide the drawer on its bottom with a kicker on top to keep it from tipping down as it's drawn out.
That sounds closer to what I need. I want it all. I want the drawer to stop at nearly full open on both sides as well. And, of course, not tip out.
I can't see how that would be accomplished without some kind of moveable stop/s. I can leave room inside the case both above and below the drawers, so that's not a problem.
