Hi, I want to apply paste wax over semi-gloss lacquer to warm the finish up a bit. This is on an 1802 Eli Terry Grandfather clock replica. The semi-gloss lacquer looks a little too nice. How long does the lacquer have to cure before I apply the wax? Any tips on the wax or other products?

About 24 hours. The wax will increase the gloss so I don't know if that will provide the look you want. Better do a test piece, although the wax is easy to remove if you don't like it.
With most film finishes, lightly sand in an inconspicuous area, or test piece. If you get dry white powder, it's dry. If it's at all gummy, it's too soon.
Lacquer is one of the fastest drying finishes.
My favorite wax is Renassance Wax. It's fantastic.
