Depends on what you are wanting to wax, I suppose. For furniture and cast iron machine tops, I use S.C. Johnson paste wax.

I keep a can of Johnson's paste wax on my benchtop. Saw tables, jointer and planer tables benefit - I've never had rust and things slide a lot better. I also use it on planes when they start to drag. The difference is remarakable.
Frosty
I use Johnsons paste wax and Butchers Bowling alley wax.
Work Safe, Count to 10 when your done for the day !!
