Greetings,
Can anyone pass along some sources for Paulownia or Kiri wood here in the US? I’m looking to build a small tansu.
Thanks much,

http://www.woodfinder.com/ lists a handful of sources for paulownia. I'm guessing that what they're selling is mostly locally grown (it's sort of a weed tree in the mid-Atlantic region).

Thanks for the link, Steve.I found another source called Collector's Specialty Woods that claims to stock it: http://www.cswoods.com/You have to search by species and then select "Kiri" as the don't cross list it as Paulownia. Have to order from them, so buyer beware.
Hi
I noticed you are looking for paulownia. I have property in middle TN and have it growing on my property. How many board feet do you think you'll need for your tansu?
