I have an older PC 556 biscuit joiner. Does anyone for sure if I put in a ff blade in it can I adjust the depth of cut properly?
Thanks in advance,

On the 557, you remove the bottom plate. There is a metal chip deflector that can be put in two positions. You have to push in on the carriage to put the pin in the smaller blade hole. Instructions are on the bottom plate, on the inside. Is there a position for FF on the turret stop? I would guess it would work but you may have to push the carriage quite a bit to make the cut. The blade is just a smaller diameter. I just don't know if the jointer will move in far enough.
Beat it to fit / Paint it to match
