I am building a 10-0 x 8-0 pearwood veneer room divider for a highrise condo client. The quotes I’ve gotten for 3/4″ 8-0x8-0 double sided pearwood veneer sheets is over $700 per sheet. Is that the going rate? Anyone out there with a more reasonable pearwood veneer resource?

Certainly Woods price on the veneer alone is 4.50-6.50 sq/ft. They may offer discounts on large quantitys. Just the raw veneer to do this project would cost more that $700.00 if you were to lay it up yourself. That price may not be all that bad. http://certainlywood.com/woodmenu.htm#full_length
