Hello,
Years ago I had a 10lb block of PEG that I was going to use to treat green wood for turning. Is this method still being used? If not, why not? If so, where can I get some?
Thanks.

Pentacryl is the modern way to go. Everything about it is better.
Rocklers carries it. I still use it. Best is relative. Vacuum impregnated UV catalyzed acrylic or vacuum impregnated epoxy could also be calle best.
