I am trying to i.d. a used PSI dust collector that I am looking to buy. I have attached the only photo provided in the ad. As you can see, this is a single stage portable collector with a canister filter on top and a clear plastic bag on the bottom. The ad describes it as 1 HP with a “5 micron filter”. I asked if they could pull the model number off the machine, but they said the only thing they can find is “mfg #232009”.
I called PSI- they didn’t offer much help based on the information above. The only thing they told me was that the filter was actually a “2 micron filter”.
I did find one source online that I seem to recall discussed a 1 HP Penn State DC-2 with a 0.5 micron cartridge, so I’m wondering if the seller mistakenly put “5 micron” instead of “0.5”.
I would appreciate any help in identifying the model and specs of this machine. Thanks in advance!

Looks a lot like an old (at least 20 years old) Penn state collector I have (but don't use anymore). But mine has two cloth bags. I suspect someone retrofitted the pleated filter.
99% sure it is supposed to be 0.5 micron. Which, btw is not good enough to catch fine dust particles. For these, you need 0.1 micron, which is the HEPA number.
