Here are some pictures of the guard /dust collector i just purchased from PennState i am very pleased with its dust collection. If you don’t have one get one approx. $200.00 my t/s is a pleasure to use and so will yours.

Glad to see you didn't make my mistake -- shortening that clear hose. For some reason, I thought it was too long. Not!
I see you put a barrier on the rear of the guard. There was some little something in the kit that I thought maybe was intended to go there, but I never figured it out. Bet it helps with effectiveness.
Enjoy the dust guard. I really like mine -- how easy it was to install, and easy to adjust for different situations -- and the price is definitely right.
