Here is the final product, a small table made of birch plywood with oak edging. I used 5 coats of MinWax wipe-on poly and I branded her name in the plywood with a $10 burning tool I bought from Wal-Mart and letter templates from an old alphabet puzzle my kids had. It sits about 1′ off the ground and has folding legs that I purchased from Midgett (if you’re interested just put that name into your Google search, I am not affiliated, just happy with them). This table fits under her bed when legs folded. My daughter was using the table this weekend with 3 of her friends coloring on it. We bought one of these for my oldest from Potter Barn for Kids for about $100 and I was able to build this for less than 1/2 the price… This is one of my first woodworking projects and I got more satisfaction aout of this than anything I’ve done in my real job…Hopefully I attach these pictures correctly.

Nice job!
Nice work. I resized the picture for the dialup folks to download. It maybe worth converting images over the jpg and keep them somewhat smaller.

Thank You Scott. I did convert to jpeg but it didn't look as good but the one that you posted looks as it should. When you say you resized it do you just mean you converted it to jpeg or did you do something else to make it smaller? Thanks again and thanks for the compliments to all posters...

I just made the file size smaller. The photo size is still the same long night last night and I am not all with it today.Scott C. Frankland
