I am trying without success to find a better assortment of 5″ PIN END scroll saw blades for doing some fine scroll saw work. I know, I have an older saw but I can’t justify the expense of a new one, I just don’t use it that much. I would like some very fine, 0.10 inch, skip tooth blades and I just can’t find any….
Any help or links would be appreciated, thanks!

Don, I've wondered for awhile about the Olson SS blades. Have you used Flying Dutchman blades? How do the Olsons compare??forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)
I've never tried the Flying Dutchmen, I've not had any problems with the Olsons. I have one other brand too but I don't remember who makes them and I mixed them with the Olsons in the tubes. I'm probably not the best person to ask as I really don't do a whole lot on the scroll saw.

I went through a scroll saw phase one Christmas, made a bunch of ornaments. The Flying Dutchman blades are phenomenal! Unfortunately, there are no pinned versions. If you have a scrolling task come up, drop me a line and I'll mail you a few blades, you can do a "compare and contrast".forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)
Thanks everyone for the replies, appreciate your time! I think I'll use what I got for know and look for a newer used scroll saw after Christmas.
PS THIS fellow just sent me this message for any one else in the same boat as me.Hi Jeff,
All pin blades are big. They are not good to do any intricate cuttings.
You could contact this company: http://www.pozsgaidesigns.com/
Asked him if he has anything to put new clamps on your saw.

Grainger has plain as well as pin end scroll saw blades, as does Lowe's (and I would suspect several of the other big box stores).
Btb, I recently picked up a very nice Grizzly scroll saw (it is labeled as a "jig saw") for $25 on Craig's list. There are currently several such deals on scoll saws in my area, including Powermatic. Here is a link:
