Pine flooring face nailing vs tongue nailing
I have some T&G pine flooring that I’m going to lay in a bedroom and bathroom in my house. The floor boards are 1×7. At that width, I am wondering: do I have to face nail or can I still nail at 45 deg through the tongues?

Wow - that's wide.
I'd ask fine homebuilding on that one. Personally I would probably risk the tongue nailing but last time I laid pine (6 inch wide) I did it with through nailing - it looked fine.
You might have issues in the bathroom at that width. Lots of moisture.
I'd still start off nailing through the tongues. You can always do some face nailing later if it's necessary.
Thanks guys. Do you think there would any reason to glue the boards down due to width?
Personally, I would never glue solid wood flooring.
That's what I was hoping you'd say. I needed some "confirmation bias".
