In one of the articles from Fine Woodworking on the web site, there is reference to “the traditional British system of drawer making, which produces a piston fit. The process is painstaking (see FWW #73, pp. 48-51 for a description of this method)”.
Does anyone have this method description that they could email me please?

I've taken a glance at the article, and the drawers are fitted with through dovetails in all 4 corners. The carcasse is designed in such a way that runners are not required on the carcasse, nor are guides required on the drawers.
Might be kinda hard to describe the process succinctly here and still convey all the info. I suppose if it's OK with Taunton I could scan the article and send it to you. LMK if you'd like me to do that, and indicate what the max size of each attachment should be so I don't slow down your email too much.
