BG,
Don't try removing it without a puller; you'll ruin the shaft.
Jeff
Jeff,
It appears to be loose, do you know what is holding it on? Is that a regular puller..not a special one, delta specific? Thanks
Better check with the Delta technicians, or consult a service manual. There is probably a key holding it on the shaft, and if the pulley is loose, it may be damaged.
Jeff
Jeff,
I did check with Delta tech..they were very helpful. I was able to gently nudge it forward ...so the key was disengaged...and then just turn it off by hand. The nut was so large I needed to use the cross wrench from the trunk of the car. The wrench also helped getting the belt on...turning slowly. So everything is fixed and I'm backin operation...yipee!!
thanks, BG
BG,
That's good news, my next sugestion involved a cutting torch and a sledge hammer.
