I don't have plans but I can show you one I made for a client. It's really not a desk but an "L" shaped top that sets on two pedestals.
The pedestals can be any size you want or in any configuration and you can put doors on the pedestals or make them with a standard drawer system with fronts like a chest of drawers.
This top, 1 1/4" thick antique southern pine and very heavy, is made in three sections to accomplish the chevron and it is joined with several sets of double biscuits. I screwed some 1 bys to the underside to transport it.
There is a matching leg in the rear center to support the back of the top.
The good thing about this system is that you can get into and out of rooms.
