I’m trying to find this product. Woodcraft and Rockler stores don’t stock it. The employees just gave the dumb looks when I asked for it. I’m really surprised by this because this glue has many merits. I can’t believe they don’t stock it.
Can you suggest a retailer that I can drive to to get this product?
Thanks

Not exactly DAP but: http://www.veneersystems.com/index.php/action/category/id/3/subid/6/
I have used this and it works well but,
I like Unibond 800 better since it is easier to mix and this can be obtained from:

My local ACE Hardware store ordered me two cans of Weldwood brand plastic resin glue made by Dap in Ohio. Ordered on Monday and came in on their Thursday delivery. Great service.

Don C .Was wondering what you think about this product as far as being brittle?Don 't mean to hijack thread. Thanks Chris
Yes Chris,
It is hard and brittle. Excess can dull chisels and scrapers quickly. The brittleness factor is not a problem within the joint itself. It is an excellent glue for jigs and laminations and veneer because there is no "creep" as with many other glues.
Some of the powdered Plastic Resin is so fine it can cause serious problems. It says to wear a mask when handling it, I was just opening it to see what was inside (without my mask) and bam! I got blasted. It was so fine it had smoke like dust floating around and I got a good nose ful. I still have a slight growth on my right paratid gland. It glued up my eustation tube for a time...not good.
When the glue is handled by a more intelligent person it is really great stuff....It gives you great open time, cleans up with water and you can mix what you need and save the rest....make sure you add the water to the powder and not the other way round...if you don't you will find out why you should.
Make sure you make it thick enough...the really dumb guy I know(me) mixed it too thin and when I put on the vacuum it squeezed out all over everywhere and when cured I couldn't get the vacuum bag off the platten board....Clean up on isle 5!!!

Geesh! That sounds dangerous enough that is should definitely not be commonly available in the comsumer retail channel. A fine-powder, flour-like consistancy, moisture-activated adheshive? 'sounds like a recipe for all sorts of medical disasters when handled by the typical consumer.
I've never used this stuff, but thanks for the head-up. When I do, it'll be the most hazardous substance in the shop, and I'll be sure to take appropriate precautions.
It is pro glue from Vac-u-clamp...really good stuff not snuff.
Thanx for the reply
Plastic laminate supply houses such as Louis and Co. should carry it.
I personally think it's great stuff for all kinds of wood joints--as well as its' uses in fire rated doors.
It may be hard to find because not many woodworkers use it anymore and it has a relatively short shelf life--about one year. When buying it, you should make sure you are getting a "fresh" batch.
