plywood blade for table saw and circular
I’m about to work some very expensive plywood. I’m looking to purchase a premium quality 8″ (will take 10″ if I have to) plywood saw blade for my table saw and a 7 1/4″ blade for my circular saw for this project. Read an article on the DML golden eagle 74032/74030 that made it sound like the way to go. Can’t find any reviews by Fine wood Working. Anyone have any information that can help me make a good decision?

There's a guy over at Woodnet that's offering some top end Irwin blades that are made by Leitz. My Leitz 40T has been a good blade, no reason to think the 80T Hi-ATB version won't be as good.

I'm also a big fan of Forrest, but that'll cost you a wee bit more...

Here's a snip from another discussion about a 7-1/4" #### blade:
Take a look at this entire post on the Woodenboat forum on a great saw blade. (####) I think the blade discussed in this post will outperform any blade out there. The details in this post tell all...I ordered two of these blades and they are great. Nothing comes close to them in quality, performance and price.

Keep in mind that I haven't tried any of these blades personally, so take the info for what it's worth.
Thanks, I went to the sites your referred me to. Good info.
Just to clarify something from the boat building thread, the one they mentioned is not the only 1/16" kerf blade on the market. The Freud Diablo 7-1/4" X 40T (D0740) is 0.059" kerf (a hair under 1/16") and is an excellent plywood blade for table saw or circ saw. It's also widely available. If you want a dedicated table saw blade for plywood you can't do better than the 10 X 80T HiATB blades with low hook angles (like the LU80R010).

For the 7 1/4" get the Makita hardi plank blade only has a few teeth but cuts clean, even across grain. My first blade came with the 5057kb with dust collection. It was on the saw so lets see how it cuts!!
I don't know of the blade you speak of, but I have the Forrest 71/4 blade in my PC CS for cutting plywood. Works great and your line is glue ready. Good luck.
