Does anyone know if there are any plans available on or like Jim Mattsons’ Split-top workbench which I saw in The workbench book by Scott Landis.
The bench is built out of plywood laminations & masonite. I’m interested in this & any other plywood workbench plans.

Here's a plywood bench recently published in FWW: http://www.taunton.com/finewoodworking/pages/fw_181_054.asp
I don't know which of the benches in Landis's book you mean. There was one with a heavy top made of many narrow scraps of plywood glued face to face with the edges exposed. Another used a torsion box for a work surface and veneering caul. I think the one in my link has a more prosaic surface made from a couple of thicknesses of plywood.

I remenber seeing a plan for a plywoodbench in Woodsmith the last issue, not the current one.It looks pretty good but I still want to make mine out of solid wood. There is a big cost difference, but u only live once.Ps sorry Tauton about saying Woodsmith!!
