can anyone tell me why the pm66 is still more money than the new pm2000? just wondering?

I'd check to see where they are made. I'm betting the new saw is imported and the PM 66 is made in the states.
I spoke with a sales rep at a woodworking show and he said they were american made and still use the baldor motor which is probably the best money can buy. But he could have been bsin me.
My local dealer says the PM2000 is assembled in Taiwan, the PM66 in the US.
ahh I wonder if it still has the same motor as the 66. I will have to do some research.
