Almost all waterborne acrylic clear finishes are waterclear and do not yellow over time.
What are you trying to do?
Hi, I purchased an unfinished pine (only 3 knots total for both) chest and nightstand. I've painted it white for my daughters room and I'm using ben moore's polyacrylic low luster for the topcoat. I've noticed that a few spots on the interior of the drawer look a bit yellow...it may be because it's a little thicker(??) in those places. I'm just concerened that over time, it may yellow. Also, I'm using a sponge brush to apply it in thin coats, but it looks a little patchy (after second coat)...could that be because of back brushing? Should I apply it thicker and try not to back brush? I'm not sure of the best method to appy it. I'm sanding between coats as well (possibly to much sanding?)
I'm new at this so any info can help. I used a sand sealer, kilz primer, and flat spray paint and that turned out great...it's just the topcoat that's giving me a headache!
thank you...
