Powermatic 3520 lathe

Any opinions on Powermatic 3520 lathe? I have an chance to buy one “new in box” for $1000.

The 3520 was improved and updated to the 3520A model. Which one are you able to buy?

Alf.........I'm not exactly sure, but there were changes. Is your bax an "A" or isn't it...?

It is a n A model. I beliexe the base is wider, the headstock is slightly different and the tail stock has a self ejecting quill. Any other changes?
