I don't think there's any question for the price. Both cost the same, one is an open body contractors saw and the other is a baby cabinet saw with a 4" dust chute. One gives you 30 days to test drive and the other is yours upon delivery. One you can lift by yourself and the other you can't.
I was going for a 66 until I saw the 124. I've had mine since November and I feel that it's the perfect home shop tablesaw IMHO.
Good luck whatever you decide,
Joe
Mike - I know the PM64a is on sale from Amazon for $769. If you can get the 22124 for close to the same price, I think it has a number of advantages over the PM. Both are nice saws and should do a good job, but if I were in your shoes I'd lean toward the 22124....depending on the price of course.
I bought my Sears just before Christmas on sale at $720. I have been very happy with it and I still think it is the best saw anywhere near that price range.
My wife thought I was crazy when she realized that it was going to be just the two of us to unload it from the back of her pickup. A nice ramp made from some 2x12s, some careful slow work and it was in the shop.
Now, what do you do with that nice metal packing box that it came in?

Put a top on one end, casters on the other and clamps/cutoffs in the middle!
