I been looking at a 16″ open end wide belt sander made by powermatic (1791250). Although I would love one of those 37″ sanders, I have neither the room or the money for one. The 16″ is a good compromise for me. Does anyone own one or have any experience with using one?

Morning- I haven't used the powermatic. But I would consider the Bridgewood model before you buy the Powermatic.
Just my opinion but, I think some of powermatics' machines are overpriced due to their reputation.
If you're set on a wide-belt, then I'd consider saving a grand or two and shopping around.
