I just wanted to post some appreciation for Dave Richards contributions to folks using Sketch Up at any level. It seems I cannot read a forum post or formal article of his without learning something I did not know before.

I agree, Dave Richards is a SketchUp Sage, who helps countless people with using both SketchUp and Layout. His blog here on the Fine Woodworking Website - Design, Click and Build is great plus he is very active on the SketchUp Forum.
Dave does a fine job of supporting SketchUp. I enrolled in one of his classes and found it helpful. He answered any questions I had promptly. My problem is with SketchUp, in particular Layout. Viewports are not difficult to size and non editable, having to go back to SketchUp to make edits, WTH. And, having to make scenes for viewports is a SU work around.
Thanks to Dave for making this easier.
I don't even use SketchUp anymore and I still watch every video he makes.
