Is there any way (a test?) that can determine if my wood fence (painted by previous homeowners) has been pressure treated? I’m going to strip off the existing paint and I need to know if the wood has been pressure treated.

If it was painted when it was still relatively new, you should see the green color on the surface. If not, cut a small piece off to get a look under the surface - the green would show there.
Dear Roz,
If the material is twisted, checked, looks terrible, but is not rotted, then it could be pressure treated. The PT over the years has had various amounts of copper infused in it. Like mentrioned, look for a green tint. (Or a bar code)
Best,
John
