Problem finding a 8.25 in Flat tooth blade
I have a new DWE7485 8.25 in table saw which is not capable of a dado option and cannot seem to find a flat tooth blade for it. Any ideas, or suggestions helping with this problem would be appreciated. Don’t want to switch to a 10 inch table saw if I don’t have to.

You might try looking at the 7 1/4" blades used by most hand held circular saws. You might also look into having an existing blade re-ground.
I'm not sure what you are trying to achieve, but if it is just a flat bottom cut, be aware that many combination blades have teeth in clusters that include one flat top ground tooth. While not perfect, the finish cut is flatter than the typical ATB cross cut blade.
Thank you for taking the time to answer back. I was looking to make some finger or box joints and wanted to get as clean of a cut as possible. However I am finding having an 8.25 blade a bit of a pain. Guess I will end up going with the router option from the sounds of it. Thanks again.
A pass with a hand tool - a router plane - is another option that many hybrid woodworkers use. It didn't take long for Christopher Gochnour to clean out a dado with a router plane in his Enfield Cupboard video for example.

Ridge Carbide makes one that costs nearly as much as your saw! https://ridgecarbidetool.com/products/8-1-4-x-40t-ar-4-1-15-hk-094-125-ts2000-super-combo-blade?_pos=20&_sid=9db5f4388&_ss=r

They're out there and Bilyo is right, you might be able to find a 7-1/4 blade at a box store, but most of them are pretty thin kerfed and would kind of be a drag to use for dados.
Thanks for the research. With that cost a nice router table will be just as easy. Thanks for the help.
The 7 1/4" blades tend to be pretty cheap. If you find one with the tooth you are looking for, buy several and stack them like a dado set. Just be sure to stagger the teeth and/or use spacers.
Sounds like a router will be just as easy under the circumstances. Thanks for the help.
I use this 8" box joint blade and it's a good performer. 1/4 or 3/8 widths. https://www.freudtools.com/products/SBOX8
That is a good idea. One report I read says that the widest cut you can make with the DWE7485 is 1/4". It doesn't say why. If it is because of the width of the table insert opening, that is easy to fix by making a new insert.
Another report says that the arbor is too short to use a dado set. How long is it? Is it so short it will only take a single blade? Is it long enough to take part of the dado set. If so, that would be better than nothing. Using just 3 or 4 blades of an 8" set could do a lot of work.
