Problem Viewing old past issues as a subscriber
Hi. I am a paid subscriber to FWW (not the unlimited plan though). Why can’t I view past issues that go far back? I am trying to view issue #24 but there is no “link” that says “view digital issue” as there are for more recent issues. Is it because they haven’t digitized the old issues? Or because I don’t subscribe to the $99 unlimited yearly plan?

I tried to access issue 24 just now and was only able to see 2 articles. I am an unlimited member. The page had a lock icon and "members only" tag even though I am signed in.
Are you sure your membership hasn't lapsed? If you're signed in and getting the lock, that is usually a sign that something happened to your membership status. Shoot me an email.
It's both reasons you stated above. The only issues available via the issue pages 'view full issue' feature, are the ones published in the last 10 or 15 years.
Unlimited members can view the entire archive in the digital libraries found in the main menu or on the members page.
So, as a non-lapsed subscriber, how can I get the article by Sam Allen in issue 24 on "Sawhorses"?
If you don't want to sign up for unlimited, another possibility is purchasing the FWW archive. The latest version is $80 (after 20% discount) and includes all the magazines from 1975 - 2020. It's sold at tauntonstore.com and comes on a USB thumb drive.
Agreed.
