Hey Gang,
I just put my Delta 50 inch cabinet saw together. Did anyone else have a problem attaching the extension table? I had it all put together and then checked everything over again, and the the extension table was off! It drops about 1/16 of a inch from the connecton at the cast iron table to the end where the legs are. This is so frustating! I can’t believe I screwed this up.
Thanks Big Donny

...so shim it with washers....
On most extension tables, the legs have adjusters on the bottom to correct this problem. Loosen the bolts holding the table to the bars and just readjust the height. If the bolts interfere with raising the table, remove them, except the front and rear ones closest to the saw, and redrill the holes after the table height is correct.

Its no big deal, just shim it up in those holes. I added an Bench Dog router table and had to enlarge those holes to drop it down.

Maybe I should just answer with a question...and of course the answer..
Q. Why doesn't General give away free stuff when you buy their saw?
A. Because they don't need too....
Get my drift...
