Folks, I have an upcoming job where I will be making several hundred small jewelry boxes on a recurring basis. Production is new to me. I work mainly on one offs or maybe two to three of the same thing. In planning how to go about this I’ve identified two bottlenecks – assembly/gluing and sanding. The boxes are 10″ x 7″ x 4″h. They will be made of 3/8 – 1/2 hardwood. The top will have a simple round over probably 5/16 – 3/8″ I’ve chosen a simple lock joint for the corners. Thought it might be easier to register during assembly since I won’t have time to fuss much with each box. Yes, time is $ in this case.
Can anyone help me with ideas for types of glue to consider (I’ve thought of everything from CA to Radio freq.) and ways to clamp that won’t take a lot of time and a zillion clamps?
Likewise with sanding. I’ve considered at flap wheells or stationary belt sander but that looks like an easy way to sand a box out square if you’re trying to do the job quickly or get bored.
Thanks in advance

Glue
A simple white or yellow glue is fine. I would consider getting a pin nailer so you won't need to leave the items clamped until full cure.
