I sweat more than any human alive. If the temp is above 65F, and I move, I start to sweat. In my workshop, this means that every metal work surface I use gets covered in sweat drops. I try to wipe everything dry, then re-coat with butchers wax, but on occasion I sweat on a tool I wasn’t using, that I didn’t check and wipe off. Next day, I have rust marks on the innocent bystander tool.
Is there any coating I can use which would withstand salty sweat better then butcher’s wax?
PS I’d change my user name, but the system won’t allow it.

I use Boeshield T-9 on all my machinery. I spray and wipe off for a thin film, then apply wax for better glide, I think it's better than wax alone, but I'm not trying to start a war!!! :-)
+1 for Boeshield. I spray into a rag and wipe it on. Not as big an issue since I added a mini-split AC to the shop.
eddo234 - Thanks, giving it a try.
