Pull up Workbench in my gargage.

I am building a pull up work bench in my garage. The Supports are mounted to the studs, and the bench top is built. How is the best way to attach the bench top to the supports using carriage bolts so it pivots?

Assuming the "support" is a 2x4 the same length as the bench top, attached horizontally to the wall studs, I think I'd use several extra-heavy T-hinges, with the butt-hinge side screwed the the support 2x4, and the long strap under the benchtop.
What sort of design are you using for the front-edge support legs?
