Does anyone know where I can get some plans for a simple puzzle box? This is for 6 year old grandkids. I’m looking for something like a chinese puzzle box but simpler.
Thanks for any ideas – Jim

And if anybody knows where to get plans for a more complex puzzle box, I'd love to see them! Thanks.

Hi Jim,
I'm totally numb on what a puzzle box is? Can you elaborate a bit more? Maybe we can help you better or at least I will try.
I love a Google challenge!

Here's a link to a simple puzzle box plan: http://www.am-wood.com/apr98/puzzle.html.
You can modify the concepts to make your own design.
You might also try the Pennyhedron puzzle described in Stewart Coffin's Puzzle Craft (available at http://www.johnrausch.com/PuzzleCraft/pc85.pdf - the Pennyhedron puzzle is on page 56).
Good luck - let us know how it turns out! And feel free to check out the puzzle box I just posted to the gallery.
