Last weekend, on the program the Woodwrights Shop, Roy Underhill featured instructions for making 3 different puzzles. I watched it intently, thinking these would provide a use for some of the scrap hardwood I have been saving. But, I guess I should have taken notes, because I now can’t remember the dimensions for the one cube puzzle I am mainly interested in.
This puzzle consists of 3 sections, each about 1″ thick and 3″ square; 2 of the sections have an opening cut thru the middle (like a squared-off letter “O”); the 3rd section is the same, with a section of the perimeter cut away (like a squared-off letter “C”). The “C” locks the “O s” together, making an interlocking cube which can be disassembled if the parts are manipulated in a certain way.
I thought I would be able to locate the instructions on the Woodwrights Shop web site, but no luck, either there or a general Google search. Can anyone help, with either the dimensions or info to a web site with the info? I don’t need a complete puzzle book, just specs for that particular one. I intend to make a batch of them for Christmas stocking stuffers. Thanks for any help.

Will,
I found it, under the second site you listed. The text is in Danish, and the dimensions in millimeters, but I can figure it out. (Also, it is 2 "C" figures and 1 "O", not vice versa like I thought.)
Thanks a bunch. Gary
