Does anyone know of a Queen Anne chair plan that does not require thicker than 8/4 stock for the back legs?
I don’t want to buy the fkplans.com plan #fd-702 if it uses more than 2 inch thick material for the back leg.
Has anyone purchased or built this plan?

walnutty,
I bellieve this one will meet your needs. Actually even the QA chairs with the crooked rear legs, (Phila, or RI, ) typically had the "bump" above the seat added, (the "hollow" offcut from the outside of the leg, being moved to the inside) rather than being sawn from 12/4 stuff.

I don't think you will find plans that do require more than 8/4 for the back legs.
I think the plans Phil Lowe sells on his website may meet your need. Don't have the link to his site handy but if you google Furniture Institute of Massachusetts you will find them. Even if they don't they are first class full size plans and are worth considering.
