I need help finding plans for a quilting frame. My understanding is, the quilt is mounted onto the frame so the “quilting” (stitching) can be applied to the quilt.
Ideally the frame can be folded for storage.
With any luck, this project will enable me to “justify” another tool. 😉
Thanks,
Bill

If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it.
And if it stops moving, subsidize it.
Hey Bones, I have one similar to that stored up in the attic of my shop. It was my mother's and maybe my grandmother's.Harry

I need help finding plans for a quilting frame. There is ALOT of ideas out on the net...
I made one for my 'middle' daughter.. She gets upset if I call her that? Well, she was!
I showed her all sorts of plans. What worked out was I asked her to write out and sketch out what she wanted.. Worked for me and at least she said she was happy with it. Never know for sure with a woman!
Regardless of what you end up with, you will likely need to make additional sets of "rods and spreader" for different width quilts.

I have no idea what you said but will ask my daughter about it... Maybe she makes all things the same size?
