Rabbeting groove on inside face of curved drawer front for bottom panel
I am building a bow front hallway table with a curved drawer. I need to route a rabbet on the inside of the drawer front for the drawer bottom to rest in. Any suggestions on routing a rabbet on the inside curve. I want the rabbet to be 1/4 inch in height by 1/4 inch in depth. All router rabbet bits I find are 1/2 or taller. thanks

You can use a slotting bit, 1/4" cutter. Replace the bearing with a larger one to give the 1/4" depth of cut. You can also make a circular fence and allow the bit to project as you want.
Thanks for the good ideas.
If you have a set of cope and stick cutters, remove the pattern from one and use the remaining cutter and bearing. You'll get a 1/4" slot, 3/8" deep.
