I was drooling through one of my tool supply catalogs and ran across an attachment for your standard 5” ROS. It is basically a Microplane that has hook & loop on the back. My question, has anyone used these before? How well do they work? Are they worth $10 for a pair? Thanx in advance…<!—-><!—-> <!—->

p.s. I have a variable speed ROS, would you want to use this on the lowest setting, or full tilt?

Hmmm, interesting idea. Never know till one is tried. Let us know if you get one.
Wonder how they'd work on a block of cheese???? Toolman Taylor would go nuts over one!
I would think you'd want to go full tilt.
Back in my youth I bought one of those 'porta-planers' that goes in a drill press. Sorriest piece of junk I ever bought! Invented by a guy in Tulsa OK. He probably sold millions.

This was shown in the latest issue of TOH as well.
I would be afraid to use it, can you imagine the damage of a microplane on your skin?
