Siematic offers a profile SLX which is an elegant recessed LED profile and very substantial in material and finish. I have not been able to find any similar extrusion – I searched a number of companies, both manufacturers and distributors (Zobal, CRL, Hafele,…) … can anyone point me to some resources for extrusions suitable for a luxury kitchen?

I use extrusion channels like this for display cases.
Nice aluminum. Very clean. LED diffuser.
If you wanna get super fancy, you can have them made of brass or something. $$$$$ Too rich for my blood, though.
I’m looking for something luxury, not the ordinary profiles, $$$$ is fine.
Nice aluminium isn't luxury?
Damn...I feel like a stupid peasant now.
Well, if that's not a problem, then take the dimensions, send them to a milling shop, and pick your material.
If I were the 1%, I'd love to boast how my cabinet lighting is GOLD...
But seriously, I feel like what you want will have to be custom-milled...
So, in that case, perhaps you could go on Upwork or find an artist to design some unique-looking profile options for you to pick from, tweak the dimensions and have that milled out of something worthy of a king.
How many profiles can there really be for this? I'm a little confused but also curious about exactly what you want.
Hopefully, some more experienced guys can chime in.
Look at the Siematic, it is both a nicer profile and much nicer material.
I can design and mill it but that's what I'm trying to avoid and as kitchen companies buy extrusions I'm looking for luxury suppliers which probably exist but I don't know any.
Hence, my query to the forum.
It all looks very cool...Not practical if you ask me. Have fun cleaning the tomato sauce out of that...
From what I can tell, that's not an extrusion or profile of any kind....or if it is, it's up under the countertop...
From everything I see on their site and Google images, it just looks like it's not really the light channel that special... that's hidden, and it's the work itself like the counter, cabinet, etc. That is special.
Well, I certainly can't help further. I was trying to provoke someone else to help, mainly by bumping this back up and showing engagement while giving my best advice.
Good luck, and still curious to see what/if others mention.
Thanks - it actually did appear to be an extrusion though of course they could be milling it, but everything about how it comes together is really nice and the material itself is probably 18 gauge brass, it's very solid through body.
... And if you ever do over of these you'll find the people don't usually care as much about practical, they have a housekeeper.
