I’m looking for reclaimed wood from old barns, houses, timberframes, etc. in MA or southern NH. Does anyone know of a source where I can get short lengths for furniture projects?

There is Mann Lumber in Athol, MA they often have good stuff.
If you are interested, a friend of mine has 4 old growth douglas fir posts, 6" x 8" x 10'
They are at least 100 years old, looks like 30 rings per inch or so. Very clean, no checks.
E-mail me directly if you are interested.

in ct you can look up flooring companies that specialize in reclaimed flooring and give them a call. i assume it might be the same in ma and you can ask to buy small amounts of reclaimed boards from them.
I have a whole house worth of antique wood from the thirties.
Hard pine window and door casings, baseboard mouldings, crown mouldings, and 11 beautiful doors.
Everything was removed with care and all the nails were removed by pulling them through the boards.
Email me if you might be interested, I have pictures.
doors?
I am interested in more information about your doors.
Could you send pics?
I may also be interested in other wood as well..
Thanks
Anne

Reclaimed Lumber Source in NJ
This place is great... they demo the old barns themselves so you cut out the middle man entirely!
They have everything from beams to barn doors. They even salvage vintage windows and shutters.
You gotta see it to believe that there is such a cool place out there like this!
DEFINATELY Road Trip Worthy!!
Make sure you give them a call and get a price quote http://www.realantiquewood.com
