Hello! I’m hoping someone can please recommend a tinted finishing wax or oil that would help me further the match of a new island cabinet with an existing door? The door is Alabama Cypress from 1886, and the new kitchen island is quartersawn oak… I’m specifically hoping to bring out more deep orange (ie. gunstock) in the new cabinet and have been able to match raw trim using 2/3 gunstock, 1/3 red oak stain. I’ve tried Trewax (mahogany) paste wax which I had on hand, but it didn’t impact it. Any recommendations would be much appreciated, thanks!
